Admissions

At Alston School we are committed to ensuring that we induct pupils through a carefully organised process making sure that pupils settle happily and make a good start.

If you have any queries regarding admissions, please get in touch by phone – 0121 464 1569. We would be happy to discuss this with you.

In order to apply for an in-year place at our school you will need to request an application form from the main office or by e-mailing enquiry@alston.bham.sch.uk

We ask for the following information to be provided in order to register a child:

Identification

Full Birth Certificate
Or
Passport

Proof of Address (Official document that states where the child lives, not parent)

Tax Credit Letter
Or
Child Benefit Letter
Or
Hospital/GP Letter

Once this information has been provided a member of the office team will complete an application form with you in order to add your child to the waiting list.

Please do not be offended when asked to provide the above as this is the same procedure for every individual that wants to register for a place at Alston Primary School or any other school.
